For Peace Day with the 6th grade students we worked on the song ¨Imagine¨ by John Lennon as well as his biography. After we listened and talked about the song the students had to think of how they imagine the world that John Lennon sings about in his song. Since our school project this year involves eyes we decided to use this idea and have the students design an eye with how they ¨see¨ the peaceful world that John Lennon dreams about in his song. The project was a great success, and here is a video with the students eye drawings.
