CHARACTERISTICS OF PEOPLE

Last week, our fourth grade class learned many different English adjectives and used them to describe their classmates. Working in groups of four, they chose one person from their class and brainstormed ways to describe that person. The students started with Spanish adjectives and used the dictionary and their teachers to translate. After, they created personalized posters. Finally, the students presented their creations to the class. We think that their descriptions were pretty accurate!

As you can see, we have many athletic, creative and intelligent students!

POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS

The 4th grade students at Chans-Bembrive created colourful and vibrant works of art using positive affirmations, such as "believe in yourself" and "we should never judge". The students chose their favorite quote, determined its meaning, and then accompanied their positive affirmation with creative illustrations, colors, and designs. After they finished, they used card stock to make their designs stand out.

We try to live by these positive affirmations every day in class!
