POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS

The 4th grade students at Chans-Bembrive created colourful and vibrant works of art using positive affirmations, such as "believe in yourself" and "we should never judge". The students chose their favorite quote, determined its meaning, and then accompanied their positive affirmation with creative illustrations, colors, and designs. After they finished, they used card stock to make their designs stand out.

We try to live by these positive affirmations every day in class!

The Kindness Project

As part of the Kindness Project, CEIP de Chans-Bembrive's fourth grade class designed inspirational and motivational bracelets using positive affirmations. After choosing and writing an affirmational phrase on their bracelets, like "I am strong" or "I can do this", the students decorated them with colourful patterns and hearts, smiley faces, stars, dolphins and umbrellas. The fourth grade students then gave them to the third grade class and exchanged bracelets among themselves, reading positive affirmations to their partner. The bracelets were a lot of fun to make, and even more fun to give out!
