Valentine's Day - February 14th

For Valentine's Day the sixth graders at CEIP Chans-Bembrive made valentines for their classmates. First, they learned about Valentine's Day and the different traditions and symbols that go with it. Then, they drew names out of a hat to pick their Valentine and made envelopes with their friend's name on it. They attached the envelopes to a banner in the hallway. Finally, on Valentine's Day the students placed the cards for their Valentines in the envelopes. The students used new their new English Valentine vocabulary and were encouraged to be creative as they affirmed their classmates. Happy Valentine's Day Chans!
